Portsmouth midfielder Niko Kranjcar has dismissed rumours he could join Monaco in the summer.
Monaco have reportedly put the Croatia international high on their list of targets to be added to the squad for next season.
Kranjcar has denied receiving an approach from the French side as he looks to focus on Croatia's Euro 2008 quarter-final with Turkey.
"Indeed, Monaco is a very beautiful city," Kranjcar told L'Equipe.
Not the right moment
"I haven't had any direct contact with any clubs.
"For me, it is not the right moment to talk about a transfer."
Arsenal and Roma have also been linked with a move for the 23-year-old, who has impressed during two seasons at Fratton Park.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is not surprised by the interest in the midfielder, but is determined to hang on to Kranjcar.
