Real Mallorca striker Jonas Gutierrez has revealed that he would be keen on a January move to Portsmouth.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is reportedly interested in bringing the 24-year-old to Fratton Park, as he looks to strengthen his attack for the second half of the season.
Reports suggest that Mallorca will only accept a substantial offer for their forward as 50 per cent of the fee will be paid to Gutierrez's former club, Newell's Old Boys.
The Argentine has spoken of the potential move, voicing his belief that he would be a success in the Premier League.
"I know the situation and my position has not changed. If the offer is right then I would like to play in the Premier League," he said in the Daily Mirror.
"I am convinced I could be a success for a club like Portsmouth and am ambitious to succeed.
"They have a very good reputation and want to be successful so it is a club that appeals."
