Neil Warnock has made Portsmouth youngster Franck Songo'o his first signing at Selhurst Park.
Songo'o has joined Palace on a month's loan and he goes straight into the squad for Monday's clash with leaders Watford.
The 20-year-old is well down the pecking order at Fratton Park and Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is happy to loan him out so that he can get much-needed first team action.
Songo'o is relishing the prospect of get some action under his belt at Palace.

"I want to show people what I can do here and help the players," Songo'o told Palace's official website.
"It's going to be tough to get into the team but I hope to get some games. There is a lot of quality here. If everything goes well, I could be here a bit longer."
