Rotherham boss eyes loan extension

Rotherham manager Mark Robins is hoping to extend a loan deal for Blackpool midfielder Marcus Bean. The 22-year-old is close to completing a one-month loan at Millmoor, but Robins is now keen to increase the stay. Robins is hoping to reach an agreement with Blackpool before Friday's transfer deadline as he looks to build on Rotherham's unbeaten start in League Two. "We have examined the possibility of Marcus staying on here and I am hopeful that we can sort something out satisfactorily," said Robins. Bean has featured in all three of Rotherham's league fixtures so far this season after he joined the club at the beginning of August.
