Harry Redknapp has revealed he is interested in signing Marlon Harewood.Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has revealed he is interested in signing West Ham striker Marlon Harewood.
As revealed by skysports.com last week Portsmouth along with Premier League rivals Birmingham, Fulham and Aston Villa are all chasing the unsettled striker.
Harewood is expected to leave Upton Park after he being told he could leave the club for the right offer.
Birmingham have already seen one bid for the former Nottingham Forest man rejected with West Ham thought to be holding out for £5million for Harewood.
Redknapp is scouring the market for striking reinforcements and he admitted he is monitoring Harewood's situation.
"I've been keeping an eye on Marlon. I like him - he's strong, quick and powerful," Redknapp told The News.
"He's a real handful on his day and most of all, can definitely get you goals in the Premier League. If he could get 15 goals, he'd be a snip."
