Portsmouth have handed Nigerian youngster Chinedu Ogbuke a second trial at Fratton Park.
The highly-rated Lyn Oslo star spent a spell on trial at Pompey last month and he impressed during his time at the club.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is an admirer of the forward and he will continue to monitor him before deciding whether or not to make a move for the player in the summer.
"He's sharp and quick and looks a good, young player, so it made sense to get him back with us again," said Redknapp.
Lyn manager Henning Berg confirmed Portsmouth were keen on signing Ogbuke, but he expects a number of clubs will move for the talented striker.
"Our sporting director has had discussions with Portsmouth," said Berg. "For them, it is important to see him in several matches to check his qualities.
"But there will surely be other clubs in the picture before the summer window opens."
