Portsmouth are reported to be keen to sign Auxerre defender Younes Kaboul.
Kaboul, seen as one of the most promising stoppers in France, has been linked with many of Europe's big names in the past.
Portsmouth are ready to renew the interest they showed in the 21-year-old in the summer, with rumours of a é¼8million (£5.4million) offer being tabled.
However, Juventus and Chelsea are also thought to be keeping tabs on Kaboul.
One player almost certain for the Auxerre exit is striker Luigi Pieroni, who is now favouring a move to Toulouse.
The 26-year-old is also a target for Nantes but Toulouse are set to step up their bid to sign the Belgium international after missing out on Lilian Laslandes.
