Coventry are close to extending the loan deals of Richard Duffy and Clive Clarke until January.
Sunderland's Clarke and Portsmouth defender Duffy arrived initially on one-month loan deals in October.
The duo's current loan deals expire after the Sky Blues' Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but Coventry boss Micky Adams is confident both will stay at the club until January.
"Both want to stay and subject to approval from their clubs we are going to extend their loan until January," Adams told the Coventry Telegraph.
"I have been impressed with Clive, who I tried to sign in the summer.
"I have been pleased with what he has done and he wants to stay and play."
