Rodolph Douala's Premiership debut for Portsmouth is still at least a fortnight away.

The Cameroon international joined Pompey on a season-long loan from Sporting Lisbon just before August's transfer deadline.

He has yet to appear in the league under Harry Redknapp, although he was a late substitute in last week's Carling Cup win at Mansfield Town.

However, the winger has picked up a minor hamstring problem, which prevented him from being available for Monday's defeat at home to Bolton.

A scan has shown the injury is not serious, but Pompey physio Gary Sadler feels Douala will not be back in action until next month.

"He had a scan on Wednesday that showed a slight tear, but he is responding well to treatment," Sadler told the club's official website.

"He is perhaps a couple of weeks away."
