Crystal Palace are being linked with a move for Portsmouth striker Ricardo Fuller.

The Jamaican international has failed to establish himself at Fratton Park since his £2 million switch from Preston in August and managed just two goals last season.

He had a brief spell at Palace back in the 2000/01 campaign and could now be set for another stint at Selhurst Park.

Palace have already brought in Jonathan Macken from Manchester City this summer, but with the future of Andy Johnson still far from certain manager Iain Dowie could be planning to further bolster his forward options.

The Palace chief is understood to have made an initial enquiry for the 25-year-old and could choose to follow up his interest in a player who has a proven goalscoring record in The Championship.

Meanwhile, Ipswich are understood to be tracking Palace full back Danny Granville.

The former Chelsea and Leeds star is out of contract at Selhurst Park and has yet to agree a new deal.

Ipswich boss Joe Royle is monitoring the situation and is being tipped to move if Granville does not concur upon new terms.
