Reading manager Nigel Adkins has revealed that Sean Morrison has suffered another injury setback during training.
The 23-year-old defender has been sidelined with damaged medial ligaments since early November, but was on course to making a recovery.
However, the centre-back has picked up a new injury while training and his comeback has been put on hold.
"Morro has done a bit of training, but picked up a little niggle which has put him back," Adkins told GetReading.
"It's not his knee, that's fine. But sometimes when you come back and push yourself you get a little strain here and there.
"His knee is good, though, and he and Wayne Bridge have been involved in training sessions.
"We've got to make sure now that we nurture them through."
