Keeper looking for new club after leaving Man City

Sky Sports understands former Manchester City goalkeeper Stuart Taylor is training with Reading as he looks to win a move to the Premier League new boys. Taylor is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at the Etihad Stadium earlier this summer. The 31-year-old is thought to have rejected the offer of a new deal at City as he searches for regular first-team action. Taylor made just one appearance for City during his three-year stay at the club, finding himself playing back-up to Joe Hart. Reading have now offered the former Arsenal and Aston Villa custodian the chance to link up with them for pre-season training. Royals boss Brian McDermott could be in the market for goalkeeping reinforcements as he looks for experienced cover for Adam Federici and he could offer Taylor a deal if he impresses during his training stint.
