Reading forward Michail Antonio has extended his loan deal at League One side Colchester by a further month.
Antonio has been in good form for the U's since making his initial switch in August and will remain at the Weston Homes Community Stadium until November 15.
The Royals have inserted a 24-hour recall clause into the terms of the arrangement, however, and the 21-year-old will return to Berkshire upon the completion of his third and final month in Essex.
"I'm delighted that Michail's staying longer because he's played well with us and, over the course of his loan, his fitness has improved to go along with the football ability he clearly has," Colchester boss John Ward told the club's official website.
"We were able to offer Michail regular games, something Reading couldn't at the time, and it has worked out well for everyone."
