Skysports.com understand Brentford are set to take Nicholas Bignall on loan from Reading.
The 20-year-old winger is yet to make the breakthrough with the Royals, with senior showings thin on the ground.
His lack of action at the Madejski Stadium has seen him sent out elsewhere on a regular basis.
He has already taken in loan spells at Northampton, Cheltenham, Stockport, Southampton and Bournemouth.
A stint back in League One with the Bees could now be on the cards, with Andy Scott ready to make his move.
