Keeper reignites loan spell at Memorial Stadium

Reading have given the green light for goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen to extend his stay with League One side Bristol Rovers. The Danish stopper has been in fine form at the Pirates this term, making 21 league appearances during the first half of the season before his loan expired last week. Third choice at the Madejski Stadium this term behind Adam Federici and Ben Hamer, the 21-year-old prospect will be allowed to prolong his stay at the Memorial Stadium until the end of the season. The move will come as a boost to boss Paul Trollope who would have been left light in that position with just Rob Holmes and Rhys Evans his other options. Andersen joined the Royals three years ago from hometown club AB for an undisclosed fee and had played for his country at Under-21 level.
