Wycombe Wanderers have extended the loan deal of Reading midfielder Scott Davies until 16th January.
Davies has scored four goals in 16 appearances for Wycombe since becoming manager Gary Waddock's first signing for the club in October.
The 21-year-old played under Waddock during previous loan spells at Aldershot Town and has been a key figure for the League One strugglers.
He will now stay at Adams Park until the middle of the month when Waddock will have to decide on seeking a longer-term deal for Davies.
The immediate extension of the deal means that Davies will be available for Wycombe's next two games against leaders Leeds United and fellow promotion chasers Charlton Athletic.
