Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton is anxious to extend on-loan Reading and England Under-21 goalkeeper Alex McCarthy's stay at Huish Park.
The Glovers boss would also like to secure a loan return for Swansea's Wales Under-21 midfielder Shaun MacDonald, who spent a successful three-month stay with the club before returning to the Liberty Stadium before Christmas.
Skiverton said: "I'll have to work extra hard on securing Alex McCarthy and Shaun MacDonald this week.
"Alex can play against Leyton Orient as part of his original loan but nothing has been secured beyond that.
"I am hoping we can get Shaun in before Saturday."
