Skysports.com understands a quartet of clubs are chasing Lincoln's highly-rated midfielder Dany N'Guessan.
The former Rangers youngster has impressed hugely since moving to Sincil Bank in 2007.
A number of clubs have watched the 21-year-old in action this term with N'Guessan catching the eye with nine goals so far.
N'Guessan looks likely to leave Lincoln at the end of the season on a free transfer after rejecting a new deal at Sincil Bank and the news has alerted the likes of Leicester, Reading, Ipswich and Sheffield United.
All four clubs are ready to battle it out for the Frenchman and are ready to offer him a lucrative contract in a bid to lure him away.
As he is aged under 24, Lincoln would be entitled to compensation if N'Guessan moves to another club in the summer.
