Antonio and Bignall to stay with Cheltenham until March

Reading midfielder Michail Antonio has joined Cheltenham on loan and Nicholas Bignall has extended his stay with the League One club. Antonio moved to Reading from non-league side Tooting & Mitcham in October but he has now been sent out to gain experience at Whaddon Road. He will spend the next month with the Robins and will link up with Reading club-mate and fellow winger Bignall. Bignall made the move from the Madejski Stadium to Cheltenham last month and he will now stay until mid-March after impressing in his five appearances for Martin Allen's side. "Reading have agreed for him to come to us for another month and I'm very grateful to them for that," Allen told the club's official website. "He has shown on a couple of occasions that he has the pace to get in behind people. "He's only young but he has that pace, he plays on the left side where we are a bit short of pace going forward so I'm really pleased to have him here for another month." Allen added: "I am very grateful to Reading FC as we are not having to pay any wages for either player."
