Former Reading star Bobby Convey has sealed his return to America.
The winger has agreed a deal to move back to MLS having signed for San Jose Earthquakes.
Convey, 25, left the Championship outfit last week after he cancelled his contract by mutual consent.
Despite interest from clubs in Europe, Convey has opted to return home to America.
"It is rare to be able to acquire a USA international in the prime of his career," said general manager John Doyle.
"When he became available we jumped at the opportunity to add him to our team.
"He is a great attacking player who will make an immediate impact, and our fans will enjoy watching him."
