Reading winger Hal Robson-Kanu has agreed to spend a second month on loan at Southend United.
Robson-Kanu has scored once in six appearances for Southend since returning to Roots Hall for a second spell in August.
His loan expired after Saturday's 4-3 win at Crewe Alexandra, but he is poised to extend his stint with the League One club.
"Hal has agreed to stay for another four weeks which is good news," Southend boss Steve Tilson told the club's official website.
"He's naturally left footed and provides width and competition on that side of the pitch.
"That showed when he came on against Crewe and he almost scored with his first touch."
