Reading defender Nicky Shorey has admitted he does not know what the future holds for him.
Shorey has been linked with a move away from the Madejski Stadium this summer following Reading's relegation from the Premier League.
West Ham have been interested in the left-back in the past, while Portsmouth and Aston Villa appear to be the current frontrunners.
However, there have been no firm offers as yet and Shorey insists he will continue to pay no attention to the transfer speculation.
Shorey has been at Reading since 2001 and he is staying focused on trying to win promotion back to the top flight.
When asked whether the uncertainty over his future was getting to him, Shorey told the Reading Evening Post: "You just get on with it.
Speculation
"There is speculation about everyone, not just me. I have had it for the last two years now and I will just get on with it.
"The chief exec can say what he likes about my future. I won't be commenting on it. I will just focus on my football.
"I am concentrating on getting fit and I will let other people waffle on. It's all just paper talk.
"I have been with Reading a long time. We've got a good group of lads, but what the future holds no-one knows.
"Everyone wants Premier League football. We want to get back there and hopefully we will.
"But it's gone for the moment. These things happen. We weren't good enough last season. All we can do now is try to get back."
