Sheffield United have extended Reading defender John Halls' loan until the end of the season.
Halls moved to Bramall Lane last month, having already been on loan with Championship rivals Crystal Palace and Preston North End this season.
He has made three appearances for the Blades and manager Kevin Blackwell was happy to extend the deal.
"We are pleased to have been able to keep John who we needed for cover when Derek Geary was injured," Blackwell told the club's official website.
"John did well for us and will ensure that we have strength back there for the final few games."
The deal has been extended until 24th May to enable Halls to feature in the play-offs, if the Blades gatecrash the top six.
