Reading defender Liam Rosenior believes he has become a better player since leaving Fulham.
Rosenior comes up against his former team-mates on Saturday with both sides in need of the points as they battle to avoid relegation.
The full-back made 92 appearances for Fulham during three seasons at the club, but he believes he has improved as a player since his switch to Reading last summer.
"We had a hard season at Fulham last year," Rosenior told Sky Sports News.
"We had a lot of injuries with people playing out of position doing fantastic jobs for us.
"It just wasn't to be, maybe things happen for a reason.
"I am here at Reading and I am a better player now than I was at Fulham and I have got to get on with my on career now and get where I want to be and that is to be playing in the top league in the world and trying to get in the England squad."
