Stephen Hunt insists Reading hold the key to his future after Sunderland had a bid for the midfielder rejected.
The Black Cats tabled a £2.5million offer for the midfielder earlier this month which was swiftly dismissed by The Royals.
Speculation surrounding Hunt's future continues to circulate, however, the 26-year-old remains coy on the issue.
"Who knows, people said I would leave Reading a couple of years ago and I'm still here now," said Hunt.
"But the club knows my situation and how I feel and we'll see what happens. It's entirely up to Reading."
Hunt has vowed to continue to do his best for Reading, although he has revealed his admiration for Black Cats boss Roy Keane.
"I told the club what I thought about that and that will remain private. I'll just keep going and see what happens. Only time will tell," he continued.
"Sunderland is a big club and Roy's doing a great job there. But I'm here and I'll give my best for Reading."
