Andre Bikey has signed a three-year contract at Reading after a £1million fee was agreed with Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Cameroon international has impressed everyone at The Madejski Stadium since arriving at the Premiership new boys in August, and has slowly established himself as a first team regular.
After negotiations with his Russian club, Reading have successfully secured his services for the next three years, in a deal the club's director of football Nicky Hammond feels will prove to represent real value for money.
"Andre has done very well with us since joining on loan," he told the club's official website.
"He has proved he can play at Premiership level and this move gives him the opportunity to progress.
"This is a very good signing for Reading football club and a great deal for us in the current market."
The signing is subject to ratification from the Premier League, along with that of the respective Football Associations of England and Russia.
