Wycombe boss Paul Lambert has admitted he would love to secure loan signing Scott Golbourne on a permanent basis.
The 18-year-old defender moved to Adams Park from Reading in August on a short-term deal.
He scored a fine goal on Saturday as his loan spell came to an end with a 1-1 draw against Grimsby, and Lambert is keen to have another look at him in January.
"The lad Golbourne scored a terrific goal for us and he has been great since arriving from Reading," Lambert praised.
"I'd love to have him here permanently but we will have to see what happens in January."
