Bristol City have extended the loan of goalkeeper Adam Federici for a second month.
The 21-year-old Australian will continue to provide competition for Robins number one Adriano Basso, with summer signing Chris Weale still recovering from a knee ligament injury.
Ashton Gate boss Gary Johnson says that despite extending Federici's stay in the West Country, the youngster may move on, if it allows him a chance to play.
"I know Reading would prefer for Adam to be playing in someone's first team at present, they even circulated his name," Johnson told the club's official website.
"But we've re-signed him in the meantime and Reading know they have the 24-hour recall clause.
"Adam's a great lad to have around and is a good keeper."
Meanwhile, City's Under-18 coach John Clayton succeeded Tony Fawthrop as manager of the club's youth academy this week.
