Trio pen Royals deals

Reading have signed three players to new contracts at The Madejski Stadium.

Midfielder Dean Morgan (pictured) has put pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal with The Royals while club trainees Louie Soares and Simieon Howell have penned one-year contracts with the First Division outfit.

They are the first professional contracts for right back Soares and central midfielder Howell, who have yet to appear in Steve Coppell's first team, but have impressed in both youth and reserve matches.

Morgan, meanwhile, was delighted to sign a new deal with the Berkshire-based outfit, feeling he has proved himself in Division One following his move from Colchester United.

"I'm over the moon, I came to prove to everyone at the football club that I'm good enough to be here," Morgan told the club's official website.

"I'm glad I've got the contract because I've worked hard for it and it's good to have the security."
