Bolton Wanderers duo Zach Clough and Kevin McNaughton have been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.
Defender David Wheater is also set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
The trio were all forced off during the first half of Bolton’s 1-1 draw with Reading on Tuesday.
Scans have revealed defender McNaughton has fractured the fibula in his right leg and will undergo treatment in the coming weeks.
Rising star Clough left the field with a dislocated shoulder and will also have treatment in the coming weeks, while Wheater has suffered a hamstring strain and faces around eight weeks out.
Bolton are in 17th place in the Sky Bet Championship and next face Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.
