Plymouth Argyle have announced that goalkeeper Luke McCormick has signed a new deal at Home Park.
The Pilgrims' shotstopper, who is back with Argyle for a second spell, has penned a two-year extension to keep him with John Sheridan's side until the summer of 2016. "I am absolutely delighted," he told the club's official website. "Once I knew that Argyle wanted me to stay, there was no decision for me to make. "This is home for me; it is my club. "I think I have got a lot more to give. There's definitely more to come from me, and I am already looking forward to next season when I can show that." McCormick made his debut for the club back in 2001 and made 150 appearances before spending four years in jail from 2008 until 2012 for causing the death of two children by dangerous driving. He returned to the club last summer after short spells with Truro and Oxford and was one of Plymouth's star performers this season until he suffered a broken and dislocated finger.
