Sky Sports understands Neil Danns is being tracked by a number of his former clubs and managers.
The 29-year-old midfielder has made just one appearance in the league for Leicester City this season under Nigel Pearson.
Now Leicester appear ready to let Danns leave and a number of Championship clubs are eager to seal a deal for him.
Former clubs Crystal Palace and Birmingham City are keen to re-sign a player well-liked by fans of both clubs.
And two of his ex-bosses in the shape of Dougie Freedman and Steve Bruce would also like to take him to their respective clubs, Bolton and Hull City.
