Sky Sports sources understand Bolton Wanderers are keeping tabs on Leeds United starlet Tom Lees. The 21-year-old has impressed many having enjoyed a breakthrough season after being given a chance by manager Simon Grayson. The youngster is predominately a central defender, although he has also been utilised by Grayson as a right-back. In September he signed a new long-term contract at Elland Road tying him to the West Yorkshire outfit until the summer of 2015. Lees has been a virtual ever-present, featuring for Leeds in 22 of their 26 Championship fixtures. Bolton are looking for potential defensive reinforcements ahead of England international Gary Cahill's imminent transfer to Chelsea. Lees helped Bury win promotion last term and is reportedly also attracting attention from England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce.
