Coke hints at Shakers return

Giles Coke has refused to rule out a return to Bury, despite turning down an extension to his loan at Gigg Lane this week.

Midfielder Coke returned to parent club Sheffield Wednesday despite Shakers' boss Richie Barker making an offer to renew his temporary deal. However the 25-year-old has revealed he could return to the north west if things do not go to plan at Hillsborough. "I've really enjoyed my time here," he told the Bury Times. "All the boys have been real quality and I intend to return to see them on their Christmas do. "I certainly wouldn't rule out coming back here if things don't work out for me in Sheffield. "Fair play to the gaffer for giving me the opportunity - I've got a lot to thank Bury for. But I just feel like it is a good time for me to go back and really give it a shot and try to get in the Wednesday team."
