Eagles midfielder aims to keep soaring with the club

Neil Danns has moved to reassure Crystal Palace fans by insisting he has no intention of leaving next month. The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far failed to sign a new deal with the Eagles. Chairman Steve Parish has warned the midfielder the club will be forced to listen to offers for his services if his future is not resolved by January. An improved contract has been on the table for some time, although it remains unsigned. However, the goalscoring midfielder has reiterated his willingness to stay at Selhurst Park.

Negotiating

"We're just negotiating the contract at the moment," he told the Croydon Advertiser. "I know people are worried but I have no intention of leaving. "It's just one of those things. Speculation always happens when a player nears the end of a contract, but it doesn't mean I'm going anywhere. "We're talking and these things don't happen instantly."
