Bolton defender Sam Ricketts is relishing going up against team-mate Martin Petrov when Wales go head-to-head with Bulgaria.
The pair are team-mates at the Reebok Stadium, although that will count for little as places at Euro 2012 are up for grabs in Friday's meeting.
Ricketts believes Bulgaria are a good side despite Dimitar Berbatov's absence and he knows all about Petrov's qualities.
"Bulgaria have got good players and you know they are going to be a good side," said Ricketts.
"Dimitar Berbatov has retired now but there are players who play in the Premier League - Martin Petrov and Stiliyan Petrov.
"Martin and I have had a bit of banter over the last few weeks or so and obviously I am desperate to get one over him. Hopefully I might kick him as well!
"Stiliyan Petrov is another very good player and it is important we nullify them and impose ourselves as well.
"We have got good players as well and we are looking forward to it."
Meanwhile, Ricketts believes it is good for Bolton that Kevin Davies and Gary Cahill are in England's latest squad.
Davies was the surprise name in Fabio Capello's party and Ricketts is delighted with the strides Bolton have made in recent years.
"Obviously with Davo and Gaz Cahill, it is great publicity for the club," he continued.
"It shows the strides we are trying to take to lose the previous tag which the media gave and replace it with a new one. We're slowly achieving it.
"We have started the season well. We have only been beaten once and that was Arsenal away.
"We have had a few good results and should have been Man Utd the other week, although a 2-2 draw was respectable.
"It has been good. I've played the last three games and am happy to play my part as and when I can.
"Premier League sides have two players for every position. You have to fight hard for your place and when you get it, try to keep it."
