QPR have completed the permanent signing of Heidar Helguson from Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old Iceland international has put pen to paper on a deal which lasts until 2011 after the Championship outfit reached an agreement with the Trotters for his services.
Helguson joined Rangers on loan in late November and has since gone on to make seven appearances, netting three goals in the process.
Helguson told QPR's official website: "I have really enjoyed my loan spell here and I am happy that my future is sorted out.
"I believe we have a great opportunity to push on in the second half of the season and I am looking forward to playing my part in what promises to be an exciting future for this club."
Rs boss Paulo Sousa also expressed his delight on landing the front man, adding: "Heidar has proved to be a valuable addition to the squad in recent weeks and I am delighted we've managed to bring him here on a permanent deal.
"He's a proven goalscorer at this level and I'm sure QPR supporters will join me in welcoming him to our family."
