Reports claim winger nearing transfer; Campo no longer bitter
Levante winger Mustapha Riga is nearing a transfer to Bolton Wanderers, according to reports emanating from Spain.
Riga looks set to leave Estadio Ciudad de Valencia following the club's relegation from the Primera Division last season.
It is claimed that the 26-year-old is planning to invoke Fifa's article 14, which allows a contract to be terminated where there is 'just cause' having gone nine months unpaid at troubled outfit Levante.
Confirmation of a deal has yet to be announced, although it is claimed that Riga could complete his switch in the coming days.
Campo
Meanwhile, former Bolton midfielder Ivan Campo has insisted he no longer has any hard feelings towards the club.
The Spaniard previously hit out at his former boss Gary Megson and chairman Phil Gartside for an apparent lack of sentiment following his release at the end of last season.
However, the 34-year-old has now told the
Manchester Evening News: "I was very upset at the way that I left the club.
"But I am not bitter and I wish everyone associated with Bolton all the best for the future.
"And I would like to say a very big thank-you to everyone who has taken the time and trouble to contact me with messages of support over the last couple of months."
