Bolton defender Gretar Steinsson has admitted he was lucky to escape serious injury following Abou Diaby's tackle on him.
Diaby was sent off for a high challenge on Steinsson during Arsenal's thrilling 3-2 win at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.
The Arsenal midfielder was given a straight red card by referee Chris Foy for a lunge at Steinsson and the Icelandic international admitted he was relieved to escape unscathed.
"I had a little bit of luck there," Steinsson told the Bolton Evenin News.
"It was a foul, but it's up to the referee to give cards and, if he decides it's a red, that's it."
BlowMeanwhile, Nicky Hunt looks set to miss the rest of the season through injury.
Hunt suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder against Arsenal less than four minutes after coming off the bench.
The 23-year-old has suffered with shoulder problems for some time having picked up the problem in November against West Ham.
Trotters boss Gary Megson is still waiting to find out the full extent of Hunt's injury.
"We're not sure what's going to happen,"said Megson of Hunt's injury.
