Trotters boss swoops for Polish hit-man

Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson has bolstered his attacking options after landing Southampton's Grzegorz Rasiak on loan. The Poland international, formerly of Derby and Tottenham, has joined The Trotters until the end of the season. Megson confirmed earlier on Thursday he was tracking a Championship striker following Nicolas Anelka's exit. Rasiak has been capped 37 times by his country and has eight goals for The Saints this term, but only two in his last 17 outings. "Grzegorz is a big, powerful centre-forward who knows where the back of the net is," Megson told the club's official website. "He will bring more firepower to the squad and allows us extra attacking options."
