Norway coach Age Hareide is set for talks with Bolton boss Sammy Lee.
Hareide is to undertake a tour of British clubs who have Norwegian players on their books to discuss how members of his squad are used at domestic level.
The Norway manager has expressed especial fears regarding Bolton forward Daniel Braaten, who moved to the Reebok Stadium from Rosenborg in August.
Braaten has yet to start a Premier League game for Bolton and Hareide has expressed fears over the player's lack of first-team starts and how this will reflect on his performances at international level.
Hareide has revealed he will ask Lee how he plans to develop Braaten.
"I was worried already when he went there," Hareide told VG.
"But unfortunately, he has at least been used as substitute. We will surely talk about the situation.
"He (Lee) surely has a plan how he wants to develop Daniel to become an established player.
"We want to point out for the managers that the matches for the national team are important for the players who are trying to establish themselves on a high level."
