Jussi Jaaskelainen has warned the Premiership's sharpest shooters that he feels his best years are ahead of him.
The Finnish keeper has been a consistent figure for Bolton in recent seasons, with the £100,000 the club splashed out in 1997 proving to be money well spent.
Jaaskelainen is now 32 and feels he can still take his game to the next level.
"If you look over the season, it has been my best so far but hopefully there is more to come as I am getting towards the best age for a goalkeeper," he told Sky Sports News.
"Hopefully I still have lots of things to prove.
"I hope the next four years can be the best of my career and that is why I am going to work hard.
"You never know, it is a fine line but I will try to do my best and prove myself."
