Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has insisted his main priority in January is to tie Kevin Davies and Tal Ben Haim to new contracts.
Davies and Ben Haim (pictured) have six months remaining on their current deals at The Reebok Stadium and have already been linked with a move away from the club.
Portsmouth have been strongly rumoured to be targeting the Israeli stopper, while a host of clubs are keeping tabs on Davies' situation.
Allardyce is expected to try and add to his squad in January, but not before securing the services of two of his key players.
"The biggest issue for us, at the moment, is to secure contracts of people who are already here," Allardyce told the club's official website.
"It's an absolute must to get Davo and Tal sorted first and then to look at others who will be due to come out of contract next year."
