Bolton manager Sam Allardyce is rumoured to be interested in Lille star Peter Odemwingie.
The Nigeria international, who scored a late winner against Monaco after coming on as a substitute last Sunday, has been in fine form in Ligue 1 this season.
Allardyce is always on the look-out for bargain buys, and is believed to have placed Odemwingie at the top of his summer spending list.
A transfer to The Reebok Stadium would unite the forward with compatriot and former Super Eagles captain Jay-Jay Okocha, who recently reaffirmed his intention to stay at Bolton.
Odemwingie was sought after by several Premiership clubs while playing in Belgium two seasons ago.
