Premiership rivals Bolton and Wolves are battling it out to sign unsettled Leeds loan defender Zoumana Camara and offer him an escape route from Elland Road.

Leeds are looking to offload Camara, who joined them on a season-long loan from Lens last summer, as they look to ease their financial worries.

The cash-strapped club even tried to cancel the player's deal along with that Didier Domi, but both players rejected the terms offered for rescinding of the contracts.

Bolton and Wolves have now declared an interest in signing Camara and they could offer the French international a chance to stay in The Premiership.

Bastia are also in the race for Camara, but the player's agent Willie McKay revealed to skysports.com that the defender is keen to stay in England and that Bastia were unable to afford a deal for the giant defender.

"It is true that there is interest from Bolton and Wolves in Camara," McKay told skysports.com.

"Bastia are also in the hunt for him, but I believe they are unable to bring him in.

"Camara is keen to stay in England as he has enjoyed his experience in The Premiership.

"I am hopeful of getting a deal agreed before the close of the transfer window."

Any deal could be delayed as Camara tries to reach an agreement with Leeds over the cancellation of his contract.
