Allardyce Czechs out stopper

BOLTON WANDERERS manager Sam Allardyce is reportedly monitoring the progress of Czech defender Rene Bolf.

The 29-year-old stopper has been invited to the club on a four-day trial as Allardyce looks to bolster his squad for next season.

Wanderers' defensive options have already been strengthened this off-season after Florent Laville and Ivan Campo completed permanent moves to The Reebok.

Meanwhile, the club are also being linked with a move for Slovan Bratislava's Robert Vittek, who was targeted by Birmingham City earlier this year.
