ATLETICO MADRID'S out of favour striker Javi Moreno is reportedly interesting a host of Premiership clubs.

Newcastle, Bolton and Middlesbrough are all believed to be keen on the hit-man, while cash-strapped Leeds are also being linked with a move.

The ex-Alaves ace was unhappy with former coach Luis Aragones last term, after being constantly omitted from the first team.

Moreno started just eight league matches in the 2002/03 campaign, bagging five goals in 22 Liga appearances after moving to the Vicente Calderon from Milan.

The Spaniard has two years remaining on his Atletico contract, but due to the club's poor financial situation they could let him leave for a reduced fee.

Moreno earned rave reviews during his days with Alaves, culminating in a superb display against Liverpool in the 2001 Uefa Cup final scoring twice in a 4-3 defeat.
