MIDDLESBROUGH grabbed their first ever Premiership win over Bolton Wanderers with a comfortable 2-0 win at The Riverside.
Steve McClaren's high-flying outfit are now within three points of leaders Arsenal as they remain in third place with the win.
Boro opened the scoring after 23 minutes when England defender Ugo Ehiogu (pictured) climbed above everyone to head home Geremi's corner.
The Teessiders had dominated the first half, but could not find their shooting boots and missed numerous chances.
They did not wrap up the game until 22 minutes from time when Geremi broke Bolton's offside trap to break clear and calmly finish for his second goal in two games.
Bolton were limited to few chances and their best fell late on to French star Youri Djorkaeff, but he failed to find the target and they now find themseleves in the bottom three
