Port Vale have signed Everton midfielder Francisco Junior on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old joined the Toffees in the summer of 2012 but has struggled to make an impact at Goodison Park, making just one appearance in the Capital One Cup soon after his arrival. Junior has spent time on loan with Dutch club Vitesse and Norwegian outfit Stromsgodset IF, and will now finish this season at Vale Park. Vale manager Rob Page told the club's official website: "We're really pleased to have secured Francisco's services until the end of the season. "He's a very talented player who has impressed for Everton as well as abroad while he has been out on loan previously. "I'd like to thank Roberto Martinez for his co-operation with getting this deal over the line." Junior could make his Valiants debut at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
