Everton have cut short Hallam Hope's loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday.
The 20-year-old front man was due to be with the Owls until January but returns to the Toffees after playing in just four Sky Bet Championship games.
Following three appearances as a substitute, Hope started the recent 3-0 loss to Watford at Hillsborough but was replaced at half-time.
Although yet to figure for Everton's senior team, he did score six times in 11 League Two matches for Northampton and Bury last term, including a hat-trick when the Shakers drew 4-4 with Portsmouth in April.
